HOPEFULLY THIS SECTION WILL HELP TO ANSWER MOST OF YOUR QUESTIONS

Okay, so you’ve found me, you’ve checked out my portfolio, maybe you’ve even contacted me. I really appreciate your interest and understand that you might have a ton of questions (I always do about things).

Hopefully, you'll find the answer to any questions you may have below. If not, feel free to drop me a message - I'll be more than happy to answer any questions that come to mind!

  • The sooner the better! I always advise my clients to book as soon as yout have the date set to avoid any disappointment. I take bookings up to three years in advance — so there’s plenty of time to get everything sorted. If you want me to photograph your wedding, please get in touch

  • Pop over to my contact page and fill out the form provided. Alternatively you could send over a quick email or give me a call with the details of the location, date etc. and as soon as I have checked I'm available, we'll arrange a chat to discuss your wedding plans in more detail. To finalise the booking I will then send you a contract along with a request for an initial payment of £500.

  • Have a good old gander through this site and get a feel for what motivates me. My style is natural, creative, cinematic and most of all fun! I capture the day as it happens without set poses or forced smiles. I do, however, believe that including some formal shots is important, but that’s down to you. I’d suggest no more than ten of these shots, so that they can be done quickly and you can get on with enjoying your day! After all, that’s what you’re there to do.

  • Absolutely! I love to travel and am prepared and happy to photograph weddings all over the world. I am always keen to discover new places and share your wedding day with you - no matter where it is!

Whereas my UK rates include travel and accommodation (within 2 hours), overseas weddings will not include travel and accommodation, which I would add on top of my usual fees. That said, I always aim to keep these to a minimum, so there’ll be no surprise five star hotel bills to settle! Get in touch and we can discuss your requirements and plans for your big day in more detail.

  • There’s no limit to the amount of shots I would take on your wedding day, but I would aim to give you at least 500 images. I am a firm believer that what I do is quality over quantity, so the shots I give you will be the cream of the crop

  • I take great care in the post production work on your photographs, so I aim to provide the final images to you eight to 12 weeks after your wedding date. The images will then be available for you to view via the secure online client access area of the website. You will be provided with a unique code to allow you access to the gallery, which you can also pass on to friends and family if you wish. Should you wish, at a small extra cost, I can send them to you on a presentation USB.

  • All of the edited images of your wedding day can be accessed via your private gallery hosted on my website forever! The images are in a high resolution format to allow you to print directly from the files provided. You are free to print your wedding photographs or use them as you wish!

  • Anyone who has access to your private online gallery can order any fine art prints and artwork easily.

  • I save multiple copies of wedding files on external hard drives to ensure that they are stored safely. However, we will only commit to saving raw and jpeg files for a 12 month period after your wedding date.

I can only guarantee access to your files for 12 months after your wedding as I have no control over third party sites. However, I have been doing this for many years and never encountered a problem with the sites I use.

  • Please see the Prices section of the website for information on the albums that I offer.

  • I will ask you to choose the images that you would like to be included by selecting individual photos in the client area of my website. Using your selection of images I will tell the story of your day through your album. I’ll email you a proof of the album design for you to approve. Once you are happy, I will send the album to be professionally printed with your choice of cover and personalised text.

  • No, I currently only offer photography at weddings, but I do know a few great videographers who would happily help to sort this request out for you.

  • A pre-wedding Shoot is a shoot before your wedding day. These tend to be really fun, relaxed and even serve as great practice sessions.. I offer a pre-wedding discount of £150 for shoots to all of my couples upon booking a Wedding package with me because I love having some time with you before your wedding day where we can throw some ideas around for your couple portraits too. Bring as many ideas with you as you like, I'll bring some snacks and the music!

  • If your venue is over 2 hours from my home in Sheffield I charge fuel and accommodation rates, this is so I can stay over the night before near to your venue and I know I can get to you without worrying about traffic.

  • Absolutely! I am all about keeping my couples safe. This covers

    Photography equipment insurance

Public liability insurance covers third-party property damage and injury caused by you or your business.

    Professional indemnity insurance

Equipment breakdown insurance covers electrical or mechanical malfunction of equipment including data recovery.

  • As I’m sure you know, the weather in the UK can be really fickle and as we can’t predict it, no matter the month, we will create a ‘weather back- up plan’.

  • This is all covered in your contract but in short, if the new dates don’t fall on a day when I’m already booked up, then it is fine and is simply moved over.

  • Gladly.. I've had the privilege of working alongside many wonderful creatives - you just let me know what you're looking for and I can point you in the right direction :) Also, see my recommended suppliers list :)

  • Payments All payments are taken through my Client Management software (Studio Ninja), direct to my business account via bank transfer.

  • A 2nd shooter is a great option for most weddings, especially large ones - it allows for multiple angles during the ceremony and lots of images of your guests having the MOST fun. Its also grate if you’re wanting images from two places at the same time e.g. groom and bride prep. You can expect to receive another 150+ images from the second shooter - who wouldn’t want that?

  • Be sure to check it out here

  • I'm afraid I can't hold any wedding dates. I often get enquiries for the same date, so whoever agrees to the T&C's and pays the deposit first is confirmed. I'll always let you know if I have another enquiry for the same date. Or the person who buys me the most chocolate ;)

  • I will share a little sneak peek of the day with you about a week after the wedding. In busy periods my lead time is 6-8 weeks. I edit all the images myself. Once your images are ready, you will receive your online gallery (with full and unrestricted access to download the photos).
